What it connects
Linear issues and their comment threads capture a lot of product and engineering context. The Linear connection syncs teams, users, issues, and comments into askneutron through Linear’s official API. Neutron can then answer questions about that work and cite the issue it came from.
This is useful for people outside the team, too. Support, sales, and leadership can ask what changed or why something was decided without searching through issues themselves.
Linear is in preview. It syncs into knowledge. Live lookups and actions in chat are on the way.
Access and permissions
askneutron syncs issues and comments from public Linear teams only. Work in private teams does not enter askneutron, so it cannot appear in anyone’s answers.
People are matched to their Linear user by verified email, so the rules apply to the right person.
Good to know
Only issues and comments sync. Neutron does not change, move, or delete Linear issues.
