What Neutron can do

Answers from sheet values

Neutron reads the values in your spreadsheets and answers questions about trackers, lists, and tables.

Drive sharing applies

Each spreadsheet's sharing entries sync with it, so answers follow who can open the sheet.

Read-only

The connection only reads. Neutron does not change cells, rows, or formulas.

What it connects

Many teams run work from spreadsheets: trackers, rosters, price lists, and plans. The Google Sheets connection syncs spreadsheet metadata and values into askneutron, so Neutron can answer questions about what a sheet says instead of someone opening it and searching.

Sheets connects the same way as Google Drive. A Google Workspace admin setup works across your organization. A single Google account connection sees only the spreadsheets that account can open.

Access and permissions

Spreadsheets in Google Drive carry Drive’s sharing rules, and askneutron syncs those rules with each sheet. With a Workspace admin setup, askneutron also reads Workspace users, groups, and memberships to resolve who a sheet is shared with.

People are matched to their Google identity by verified email. Neutron uses the sharing rules to decide which spreadsheets can appear in each person’s answers.
