What it connects
The BambooHR connection is in development. It will sync employees from BambooHR into askneutron’s people directory, so the people your HR team manages in BambooHR are the same people askneutron uses for access rules and answers.
A current directory matters because access in askneutron is set by people and groups. When employees join or leave in BambooHR, the sync will keep askneutron in step without manual updates.
If BambooHR is your HR system, contact us to be notified when the connection is available. Hearing which BambooHR data matters to your team helps us shape it.
Access and permissions
The connection will use a BambooHR API key. In BambooHR, an API key carries the permissions of the BambooHR user who created it, so it can read only what that user can read.
People who sign in to askneutron will be matched to their BambooHR record by verified work email.
Good to know
Until BambooHR is available, you can manage people and groups in askneutron directly, and upload HR policies and handbooks as documents for Neutron to answer from.
